Coffee Addict
by Milly Haines
I’m an addict but I do not mind it
Something about the taste is compelling
If there’s a café nearby I’ll find it
You can’t deny, it’s heavenly smelling
First thing in the morning, last thing at night
It doesn’t matter, just don’t leave me waiting
Don’t deny me or I'll put up a fight
It runs through my veins, intoxicating
A day without it would be so obscene
There is nothing it can not get me through
A miracle from just one coffee bean
Strong, mild, hot or iced, anything will do
If you don’t stop me I'll keep on pouring
Life without it would be simply boring
