You are the poem I would never dare to write
by Sonia Aue
I hate you, I absolutely loath you
Drowning in the epiphany of lies
The naive old me, how I wish she knew
When our eyes meet, it's something I despise
However, I burn with the desire
The fire is hot so soothe me, cure my pain
But one wrong move and I'm playing with fire
Your mood switches up and your heart's in vain
Across her seat, tangled up in her mind
How they used to be, happens all the time
And the thought that she couldn't get behind
Why she comes back, but he's not worth a dime
When I see you I don't know what to do
And to think I said I was over you
